Family Day in Ontario marks the premier showing of the new movie, Anne of Green Gables, based on L.M. Montgomery’s famous novel of the same name. Monday, February 15 at 7:00 pm the movie, based on the advent of Anne Shirley, once coined “the dearest and most moving and delightful child since the immortal Alice”, by Mark Twain, will air on YTV. This movie adaptation has been authorized by Maud’s granddaughter, Kate Macdonald-Butler and the Heirs of Lucy Maud Montgomery. What a great way to enjoy some Family Day evening entertainment!
