Dr. Kate Scarth, Chair of L.M. Montgomery Studies at the University of P.E.I. is developing a course for the Lucy Maud Montgomery Institute, which is using interviews from Montgomery scholars. Pictured in the parlour of the Leaskdale National Historic Site is Dr. Lesley Clement, who just happens to be the LMMI’s New Visiting Scholar, and who chose the Manse parlour as the setting for her interview. Lesley is the author of L.M. Montgomery’s Rainbow Valleys: The Ontario Years, 1911-1942, co-edited with Rita Bode. Behind the camera preparing to film the UPEI interview is Stuart Blower.
