Lucy Maud Montgomery<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Thank you for making Saturday, August 10<\/em><\/strong>th<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>, 2013 one of the most memorable days in the life of a 93 years \u201cyoung\u201d women, Connie Cussons, who will never forget but rather remember with joy, sorrow, laughter and fun this inspiring presentation.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Jennifer Carroll portrayed the life of Lucy Maud as if the lady herself was speaking the words and standing before a small gathering of devotees of Anne of Green Gables. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Connie Cussons, at the tender age of 11, had enjoyed tea with Ms. Montgomery in the gardens of her home in Norval, Ontario.\u00a0 An event she has fondly treasured all of her life.\u00a0 Today, 82 years hence, with her daughter Lorie and son Doug at her side, in the Manse in Leaskdale, Jennifer Carroll brought to life Lucy Maud Montgomery in a performance which captivated us all in her spell bound portrayal of the woman who brought to the world \u201cAnne of Green Gables\u201d.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n If you haven\u2019t seen it, you will never know what you missed.\u00a0 To the L.M.
