Throughout 2024 Uxbridge will be hosting “Nod to Maud” events celebrating the life of famed author Lucy Maud Montgomery. We have a beautiful line of Anne of Green Gables themed fabrics available in precuts, bundles, and yardage. Our creative team is working on some kits too!<\/p>\n

The fabrics by Riley Blake are available in coordinating colours and designs of green, purple, and cream with imagery, script and florals capturing the essence of the Anne stories we love.<\/p>\n

We are excited to announce our “Nod to Maud” which will be an exhibit featuring Anne of Green Gables.\u00a0Will you join us?<\/p>\n

Create an item using one or more Anne of Green Gables fabrics from our collection. It can be an original design or from a pattern – anything that is made using some of this fabric — quilt, wall hanging, bag, home d\u00e9cor \u2013 your imagination is the limit.<\/p>\n

We will be accepting items for display starting Saturday, July 20th – the day before the “Nod to Maud\u2019s Downtown Summer Social”. You may bring your item in anytime after that and we will display it until our Grand Finale event at our November Demo Days, November 22nd and 23rd . If you prefer not to have your item on display in the shop, you can just bring it to Show and Share at our Demo Day.<\/p>\n

Don’t let your distance from our shop stop you!\u00a0If you are not able to bring your creation to the shop, just send us a photo for display! We would love our exhibit to include creations from across Canada!<\/p>\n
